Cégleírás / Organisation/Department Our partner, a world-renowned manufacturer of specialty glass and high-tech materials used in consumer electronics, telecommunications, and laboratory research, is looking for a Junior OTC / AR Specialist to join their Budapest Shared Service Centre. Located in the 11th district, their ~130-person center offers a friendly, family-like culture with exceptional career mobility. You will join a dynamic, youthful Finance team of 10 people, working in a supportive environment with continuous learning opportunities. Pozíció leírása / Job description Collections & Portfolio Management: Manage a dedicated customer portfolio (primarily Southern Europe/France region), track overdue payments, analyze account balances, and resolve customer disputes. Customer Communication: Lead regular calls and email correspondence with internal stakeholders (controllers, sales) and external clients regarding overdue statements and payment statuses. Cash Application & Billing: Match incoming bank credits to customer ledger accounts, resolve payment discrepancies, and process non-trade invoices or credit notes. Forecasting & Month-End Closing: Participate in cash forecasting at the beginning of the month, manage bad debt write-offs, and handle month-end AR reporting and metrics. Process Support: Address customer queries logged via Salesforce and collaborate closely with customer service and sales teams. Elvárások / Requirements Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business) and 1–2 years of experience in Finance/Accounting (AR/AP)—internship experience is welcome! Language Skills: Fluent English knowledge (written and spoken) is essential. French language skills are a strong advantage. Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables) and a basic understanding of accounting/AR processes. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, proactive attitude, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset. Mindset: Openness to change, willingness to learn quickly, and confidence when participating in stakeholder calls.
