Join a dynamic Customer Service team in Leeuwarden and help ensure smooth and efficient order handling from start to finish. What are you going to do? We are looking for a Customer Services Officer to join an international Customer Supply Chain team. In this role, you will manage customer orders, coordinate transportation, prepare export documentation, and make sure customers receive excellent service. You will work closely with customers, logistics providers, planning teams, and internal stakeholders. You will also be responsible for your own customer portfolio and support the full order process from order entry to invoicing. Your main tasks will be: Managing customer orders from receipt to delivery; Checking order availability, accuracy, and completeness; Booking transportation and coordinating shipments with carriers; Monitoring deliveries and communicating order status to customers and internal teams; Preparing and coordinating export and customs documentation; Creating and processing invoices in SAP; Reviewing supplier invoices and resolving discrepancies; Maintaining accurate records and document archives; Working closely with Logistics, Planning, Quality, and Sales teams; Monitoring team KPIs and supporting process improvements; Building strong relationships with customers and business partners. What do we offer? Salary between €3,500 - €4,300 gross per month (it depends on years of experience); 25 paid vacation days and 8.33% holiday allowance; Pension plan from the first day of employment; Access to the Adecco Academy for further personal and professional development; Start date: 1 October; Initial 9-month contract with the possibility of extension and future permanent employment; Full-time position: 36 hours per week; Day shift, Monday to Friday; Start time between 07:00 and 08:00; Hybrid working possible after the onboarding period; First 1 to 3 weeks fully office-based for training and onboarding; International and supportive working environment; Opportunity to develop your skills and grow within the organization. MBO/MBO+ level or similar work experience; Experience in customer service, order management, logistics, or supply chain operations; Professional or near-native level of Dutch and English; Experience with SAP is required; Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; Understanding of export processes and international logistics is a plus; Ability to work accurately and set priorities independently; Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
