Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-Time or Full-Time) Location: Cork, Ireland Job Type: Open to Full-Time or Part-Time Przegląd ról We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join a growing Finance team in Cork, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where you will not only keep financial systems running smoothly but also help shape the connection between finance, production, and customer success in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Finance & Accounting Operations: Maintain day-to-day transactions (AP/AR, bank reconciliations, expense tracking), support month-end/year-end close (journals, accruals, prepayments), and assist the CFO with management accounts, cash flow summaries, and process improvements. Customer Success Partnership: Manage the order-to-cash cycle alongside the Customer Success team, oversee accurate invoicing and credit control, resolve billing discrepancies, and manage customer account timeliness. Production & Operations Liaison: Partner with the international production team to track and reconcile job costs, material usage, and inventory movement. Assist with costing models and support work-in-progress reconciliations between operational and financial systems. What We Are Looking For Experience: Accounting background, ideally within a manufacturing, production, or FMCG environment. Technical Skills: Strong grasp of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (ideally Xero) alongside advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills. Communication: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate financial numbers into clear insights for non-financial teams.
